PURPOSE: This is our springboard into the creative process. These questions will help us understand your needs and enable us to give you a quality design that best represents your taste and business. We will refer back to it often during the creative process so please take your time to think through the questions and answer as accurately as possible. Some questions may not apply to your situation; if this is the case, you may simply skip these items.

1. Who is your target audience?

2. What do you want your visitors to do once they get to your website?

3. What is the most important part of your website? (Contact information? Booking button? Services page?)

4. Do you need social media tools built in, like Digg, Facebook, Twitter, Stumble Upon, etc.? Which ones would you like specifically?

5. List up to 5 websites that you like and what you like about them.

6. List up to 5 websites that you really dislike and what it is about them you dislike.

7. What are your top 3 frustrations with your current website? Skip this question if you do not have a website.

8. What do you like most about your current website? Skip this question if you do not have a website.

9. List the main navigation links for your site. (Example: Home, Services, Products, About Us)

10. Describe the type of look are you trying to achieve. (Modern? High-tech? Cartoony? Professional? Conservative? Etc…)

11. What colors do you want on your website?

12. What are the layouts that you want for your website? (3 columns / 2 columns) Please provide a URL to a website that features a layout similar to the one you desire.

13. Please provide the URL’s of competitors' sites, if possible.

14. Do you want a featured image slider for your site?

15. What information do people always ask you for?

16. Please list all the pages that you want your site to have. (Individual pages for each service, product, etc.)

17. What information do you think people will visit your website for?

18. Do you need a copywriter? If you are using existing copy on your current website, will it need to be modified in any way?

1. Any specific features you would like included? Log in ability, calendars, forums, blog,etc?
